The School District of Lee County is seeking full and part-time Speech Language Pathologists who love working with children and values working with passionate educators!

Position Overview

To provide assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and instructional support services for speech-language impaired students in order to meet requirements for the provision of Individual Educational Plans (IEP) with students with disabilities as mandated by District, State, and Federal requirements and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree required; however, you can be considered for hire if you have a Bachelor’s Degree in a speech language area and also be enrolled in a Master’s Degree program in Speech-Language Impaired

  • Valid Florida teacher certification and/or valid license in speech-language pathology.

Salary Information

  • Base salary = $57,510.00
  • One of two Speech Language Pathologist salary supplements:
    • With certificate of Clinical Competency = $8,100.00
    • Without certificate of Clinical Competency = $7,492.50
  • In addition to base salary, the candidate may also be eligible for an additional master's degree salary supplement = $2,531.25
