This one-time fee reimbursement applies to external applicants who are seeking additional Florida Teacher Certification on Lee County's highest need area, ESE K-12. Reimbursement is available to individuals who meet the following criteria.
- Complete a reimbursement application prior to 12/15/2024
- Not employed with The School District prior to 7/25/2024
- Applicants currently hold Florida Certification or are eligible for a teaching certificate in an area other than ESE K-12
- Applicants must have a job offer for an ESE K-12 position within The School District of Lee County and a proposed start date on or prior to 11/1/2024.
To be eligible for this initiative, eligible instructional staff must be certified and approved for hire by the HR Operations team.
